In one of the most widely cited studies of 2023, researchers from DEHA Lab, in collaboration with Maccabi Healthcare Services and Stanford University, conducted a large-scale prospective and retrospective cohort study evaluating the safety of the second COVID-19 booster (fourth dose).
Published in The Lancet Respiratory Medicine, the study analyzed real-world data from over 600,000 individuals in Israel, revealing that no significant safety concerns were associated with the fourth dose. This crucial finding helped shape national and international booster policies, reinforcing trust in mRNA vaccine strategies.
The study stands as a benchmark for vaccine surveillance, digital health record analysis, and evidence-based public health policy.
